is a 2D pixel-art dungeon crawler & shooter game that seamlessly intertwines immersive gameplay with a poignant narrative. The game delves into the theme of overcoming adversity and finding inner strength through a symbolic journey within the mind of the protagonist. Players will embark on a compelling odyssey, battling metaphorical monsters that represent real-life struggles such as bullying and depression. The game aims to impart a message of resilience and empowerment, encouraging players to face their fears and seek support when needed.

How to play:

  • Use your WASD keys to move around the map.
  • Use your Mouse to shoot at monsters around the map.

Install instructions

For MacOS, unzip the zipped file and move the Metanoia.app to your Applications folder. Then, you can play it!

P.S. If MacOS throws an error such as "App is damaged", just run this on your terminal: 

xattr -cr /Applications/Metanoia.app

This is because MacOS marks apps with unknown developers as damaged.


For Windows, unzip the zipped file and move the Metanoia.exe to your Desktop or any other chosen folder. Then, you can play it!
